Phoenix Recovery was founded by Morgan Baine, whose own journey of healing began in a women’s recovery home that showed her the life-changing power of structure, safety, and community. That experience not only set her on the path of lasting recovery but also sparked her passion for helping other women reclaim their lives.

Though Morgan is no longer with us, her vision remains at the heart of everything we do. Phoenix Recovery continues to embody the compassion, empathy, and commitment she brought to the work every day.

Today, our dedicated team carries forward Morgan’s mission—to provide a home-like, empowering environment where women can heal, rebuild, and discover lasting freedom in sobriety. Phoenix Recovery is more than a house; it is a community and a family, walking beside each woman on her journey to a brighter future.

Founder/Program Director
In Loving Memory of Morgan Baine
Morgan Baine, the visionary founder of Phoenix Recovery, dedicated her life to helping women heal, grow, and thrive in recovery. With an extensive background that included key roles at Healing Housing and Journey Pure, Morgan brought both professional excellence and deep personal understanding to her work.

Her journey began at Healing Housing, where she excelled in case management and client care, offering steady guidance and compassion to women in early recovery. As an IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) facilitator, she led therapy sessions that combined clinical insight with genuine empathy. Her later roles at Journey Pure—as case manager, discharge planner, and primary women’s therapist—showcased her gift for helping clients navigate the transition from treatment to independence.

Returning to Healing Housing, Morgan’s impact grew even stronger as Clinical Outreach Coordinator and eventually Program Director, where she helped expand programs that changed lives.

Though Morgan’s passing in 2025 left a tremendous void, her vision and values live on through Phoenix Recovery. Her spirit continues to guide our mission—to create a safe, structured, and loving community where women can rebuild their lives in lasting sobriety.
Executive Director
Deborah O'Neill
Debbie O’Neill is the Executive Director of Phoenix Recovery Homes for Women. As a woman in long-term recovery herself, Debbie understands firsthand the profound impact that stable, high-quality recovery housing can have on rebuilding a life of purpose and dignity.

Her own recovery journey began in a women’s long-term recovery program, where she not only found sobriety but discovered a calling to help other women do the same. Over the past two years, Debbie has worked extensively in the addiction recovery field, beginning as a Case Manager at RCN Treatment Centers and later advancing to Program Director of their Nashville location.
​
In addition to her leadership at Phoenix, Debbie also serves as Community Outreach Coordinator and Women’s Substance Abuse Counselor at Healing Housing for Women in Nashville, TN, where she works under LADAC supervision. Through her work, she focuses on bridging the gap between treatment and independent living—offering women structure, compassion, and accountability as they rebuild their lives in recovery.

Debbie leads Phoenix Recovery Homes with a vision rooted in empowerment, connection, and community—believing that when women are given the tools, support, and sisterhood they need, they rise.
